Maturity

Maturity

Maturity is what … to me maturity is ones physical appearance like (I walked by the mirror and saw a little mustache). There mental state of mind, smarter choices and focusing on the important things in life. There social changes are also important. When you do something wrong in public you feel horrible afterwards.

The first sign of maturity is my physical appearance. My face looks different I looked in the mirror and saw a little mustache. I am taller then my mom (I gave her a kiss and had to reach down I never had to do that before). I have a deeper voice. (My mom said I was starting to sound like my dad). I am a lot stronger then I was before. (I went to the gym with my uncle and bench-pressed 20 more pounds then I used to.

Maturity is also the mental state of mind. I went to my summer (aka boy to man) after I had a fire in my house it helped me open my eyes because something could have happened to my family and me. It really opened my eyes and made me realize how short life could be. So I started to make smarter choices and focus on the important things in life. I have less childish thoughts (instead of making a joke about everything I take it more seriously).

My last sign of maturity is the social point of view. I am not as shy as I used to be. I crack less jokes. I am more talkative person. I know when to stop playing and start working. When I do something bad, I feel horrible afterwards. Like in the story “ Marigolds” by Eugenia collier when Lizabeth destroys the flowers of an old lady and she feels real bad afterwards.

Maturity is physical appearances like you walk in the store and you find out you’ve grown two extra sizes in sneaks. Your mental state of mind instead of making jokes you look at things more seriously. Social changes is important in maturity, like when you would whine to get what you want but your older and you don’t do that now you get a job and do it yourself. Maturity is what to you.
