Does our Constitution effectively resolve conflict?
The constitution does effectively protect individual liberties because during the Ideal society the citizens group used protest, the media to get the congress to curtail the president’s power, and the courts to protect Americans first Amendment rights.
My first reason on why the constitution effectively protects individual liberties is when congress passes a bill to limit the distribution of the Ichip to children under 18. It also states that in Article 1, Section 1 of the Constitution says that” All legislative powers herein granted shall be vested in congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and a House of Representatives. In round 1 of the Ideal society President Young vetoes the bill to limit the distribution of the Ichip because it violates Fourth Amendment rights.
Another example is when the courts gave the president power to arrest those that pose a clear and present danger to society. During round 1 of the ideal society citizen Shay spoke out against the president saying” I’m going to blow your house up “. Which led to her arrest. They held a case in the Supreme Court called Shay vs. Gov. The Supreme court would rule in favor of Shay, saying that you can’t arrest he/she without a clear or present danger. It also states in Article 3, Section 2 “ In all cases affecting Ambassadors, other public ministers and consuls and those in which a state shall be party, the Supreme Court shall have original jurisdiction, both to law and with such exceptions, and under such regulations as the congress shall make.
My third and final answer is the American citizens used a referendum to decide on keeping or restricting the Ichip. In Amendment 11 it states “ The right of the citizens to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or any state on account of race color or any other previous conditions of servitude. In round 3 of the Ideal society American citizens protested against a referendum to vote on the Ichip. Citizens that have the Ichip were going to sue the government for violating their Fourth Amendment rights.
In conclusion the constitution did effectively resolve what citizens and some government officials as a loss of individual freedoms. The constitution lies out legislating and judicial powers that can be that can be used to check he power of the executive branch if necessary without having to destabilize the country with an impeachment, Yet the fight club is still out there and being that the Ichip is still in production, I wonder if my neighborhood and family are safe or are they going to be the next target of the fight club.

philosophy of government
I believe that Hobbes was correct when he said that humans are brutish nasty and short. I also believe that we need an all powerful monarch to keep our society in order that is why there is all this chaos in the world. If someone would take away our rights there would be hardly any choas. I also believe what locke said that the government is there to protect our rights but what if they do something wrong or offend our rights we should be able to change the government, but what if things get out of control.
